Lindsey Savchuk – Night Photography in Downtown Orlando
At the end of the year, I often find myself looking back at my work and feeling more inspired to share the stories behind my photoshoots. This time, I want to bring back a session I photographed a few years ago in Orlando, Florida.
This shoot happened during a collaborative event between photographers and models. It took place at night, and we walked through the streets of Downtown Orlando capturing spontaneous and creative moments. It was my first time participating in an event like this—actually, both my first and only time—and the experience was unforgettable.
In front of my lens was Lindsey S., a model who delivered an incredible performance throughout the night. The streetlights of downtown created the perfect atmosphere to achieve the cinematic style I love so much in night photography. That mix of ambient light, colors, and shadows helped shape the artistic feel of this session.
Today, I’m ready to recreate this same vibe here in Richmond, Virginia. Since moving here a year ago, I’ve had the chance to photograph a nighttime event as well. I’ll be posting that session on the blog soon—though not immediately, as I already have a few other topics lined up to publish first.
