Hi, I’m Bruno, a portrait, documentary and lifestyle photographer based in Richmond, Virginia.
I've always loved photography, often using my phone to capture moments until I finally picked up a DSLR camera for the first time. Like many photographers just starting out, I began taking pictures of my family, buildings, and flowers blooming throughout my neighborhood, learning the basics of photography along the way.
I was born in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil in the late '80s. My photography style reflects years of observing the people around me, my memories, and the way of life for Brazilians living in the city and countryside. I most enjoy candid portraits where I can capture the essence and expressions of the person I'm photographing.
